They can require up to 48 business hours to mark the utilities. Additionally, it is the customers responsibility to provide knowledge of any nearby underground irrigation, wiring, gas lines to outdoor equipment, septic systems these utilities would not be located by 811 OUPS. 811 OUPS will only locate the major utilities from the main lines to the home. We work cautiously but need to know if there is something that maybe hidden underground.
If necessary Safety barriers will be used to protect any nearby property from flying debris while work is in progress. The work area must be kept well clear of people and pets at all times while work is in progress.
